Ruth gained a joint qualification in Dental Hygiene & Therapy from Barts & the London School of Dentistry in 2010 and has since worked for several practices throughout London.
She has a special interest in the preventative aspect of dentistry and is passionate about helping her patients maintain their oral health in a pain free manner.
Ruth regularly attends courses to further her scope of practice and keep her up to date with current developments in the field of dentistry.
She has a thorough, yet gentle approach, and likes to ensure that her patients have a comfortable experience in a relaxed atmosphere.
Ruth has a friendly and approachable demeanour. Her focus, as a hygienist, is providing quality care and educating patients how to maintain their oral health during various stages of periodontal disease.
She also has a wealth of experience in paediatric dentistry as a dental therapist as well as postgraduate qualifications in dental aesthetics, Invisalign maintenance and tooth whitening.
Ruth is kept busy with her husband and two small children. She loves to stay active through cycling, the gym, boxing, rock climbing and skiing. She is a keen music fan and loves to travel.
Ruth is very keen to help support dental charities abroad once her children are slightly older such as Dentaid and Smile Train and has a special interest in supporting cleft palate charities abroad in areas where treatment is not as accessible.
